Stay at Sayeman Beach Resort
We stayed at the luxurious Sayeman Beach Resort, one of the finest hotels in Cox’s Bazar. The view of the Bay of Bengal from the balcony was breathtaking. I enjoyed the sunrise and sunset from the resort, and in the evening, live music in the hall made the atmosphere even more magical.

Exploring the Beaches
Beautiful sunset view at Cox’s Bazar beach
We visited several beautiful beaches including Inani Beach, Sugandha Beach, Laboni Beach, and Shoibal Beach.
Each beach had its own charm – from the golden sands of Inani to the bustling activity at Sugandha. Watching the waves crash against the shore with my family was unforgettable.
Inani Beach is famous for its coral stones and turquoise waters. A little farther from the town, it is quieter and less crowded than Laboni. Walking along the soft sand and stepping on smooth corals, the sound of waves hitting the shore creates a peaceful and calming atmosphere. We loved taking photos here, especially during sunrise when the water reflected soft pastel colors.
Inani Beach
Sugandha Beach is a smaller, charming beach located near Laboni. It is popular with tourists for its calm waves and scenic surroundings. The nearby restaurants and food stalls make it a convenient spot to enjoy snacks while relaxing by the sea. We enjoyed watching families and children play in the shallow waters while seagulls glided overhead.
Laboni Beach is the main beach of Cox’s Bazar, located near the town center. The wide golden sands stretch along the coastline, making it perfect for a morning stroll or sunset photography. Here, the beach is lively with locals and tourists alike, and you can enjoy camel and horse rides along the shore. It’s ideal for families who want both scenic views and convenience.
Shoibal Beach is less crowded and offers a more serene experience. The gentle waves and clean sand make it ideal for reflection and quiet walks. It’s slightly off the main tourist path, so you can enjoy a peaceful moment with family while listening to the rhythm of the ocean. This beach gave us a sense of calmness and privacy that was truly special.

Visit to Radiant Fish World
Another highlight of our trip was exploring Radiant Fish World. It was an exciting experience for my son, as he got to see a wide variety of marine life. The colorful fishes and sea creatures gave us a glimpse of the amazing underwater world of the Bay of Bengal.

Delicious Food Experience
Food was an important part of our journey. We enjoyed meals at Palongki Restaurant, AL Goni Restaurant, Albatross Restaurant, KFC, and the Casablanca Restaurant inside Sayeman Beach Resort. From traditional seafood to international fast food, every meal was delightful.

Getting Around
For moving around the city and beaches, we mostly used Tomtom (Battery Rickshaw). It was a fun, affordable, and convenient way to explore the area while enjoying the local vibe of Cox’s Bazar.

Return to Dhaka
After an unforgettable trip, we returned to Dhaka by Dash 8 aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. The flight was smooth, giving us one last chance to enjoy the aerial views of Bangladesh’s landscape from above. It was a perfect ending to our memorable family tour.

Looking Forward to Another Visit
Our journey to Cox’s Bazar has left us with memories that we will cherish forever. As our son is growing up, he has already started talking about wanting to visit the beautiful beaches, the lively markets, and the scenic resorts again. It’s heartwarming to see his excitement and curiosity for exploring the world around him.
We hope to return soon to relive the magical sunrise at Sayeman Beach Resort, feel the soft golden sands of Inani and Laboni beaches under our feet, and enjoy the local delicacies we fell in love with. Every wave, every sunset, and every smile we shared during this trip makes us eager for another family adventure in Cox’s Bazar.
